This blog is dedicated to Young Adult fiction novels that
feature subjects of Death and Grief; suicide, murder, an accidental death, who
gets affected by the grief, the stages and intensity, first hand, second hand
experiences, as well as an impending sense of death or grief eg: a person who
knows they are going to die.
The grief and/or loss genres of young adult fiction seem to
be popular amongst those aged 15 to 20 years of age. With my experience of these novels, many have
additional themes such as ‘coming of age’ and romance.
